questions or provide information by phone at (954) 632-3149. However, all
booking agreements must be made by email, which provides a communication
trail and serves as a legally binding record of our event scheduling
agreement.
LITERARY VISIT FEES
/ DISCOUNTS
The fee for a literary visit is $500 and includes:
Interactive book reading using power point, props and skits
Activities and prizes
Motivational speech designed to encourage, motivate and offer reason for perseverance in school
Focus on the importance of reading, writing and storytelling
Free activity lesson plans
Answer questions from students and teachers (time permitted)
We offer special discounts for multiple presentations in
the same district when coordinated and booked at the same time.If 2 or more schools in the same district
schedule a visit, the fee for each school is reduced to $450 plus traveling
expenses (transportation and lodging).
Additionally, 57 cents per mile
will be included to the invoice for traveling expenses.
PAYMENT
Payment is due and payable on the date of the visit unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
TRAVEL / LODGING
EXPENSES
If overnight stay is required due to travel distance,
lodging expenses may be covered by the school. Unless indicated or
requested at the time of booking, the quoted author/illustrator fee is a
flat, all-inclusive fee.
INVOICING / PAPERWORK
Upon booking a school visit, you will receive by email
an invoice for the performance fee. If other paperwork is required by your
school (W9, contract, vendor form, etc.) such paperwork should be provided at
the time of booking, either by email to jaredpaulwilson@gmail.com or by mail

The paperwork will be completed and faxed or mailed back
to you (please provide a fax number and/or physical mailing address).If your school or district requires vendor forms, applications, or other
documents in excess of two or three pages, or fingerprinting, background checks,
or other processes which would incur time and expense on behalf of Jared Paul
Wilson. Please note that these are not included in Jared’s school visit fee,
and such requirements MUST be disclosed prior to booking.

Low AV cart with 3 outlets (I will bring my own laptop and projector for my power point)

PREPARATION
The overall impact and success of a literary visit hinges on how familiar students are with the book. Please encourage your teachers to use the books in the classroom. I provide FREE teacher resource activity lesson plans designed by Certified Texas State Teachers K-4. The more excitement and anticipation generated for a literary visit often coincides with student involvement during the presentation and a memorable moment in their school year.
AUTOGRAPHS
Most schools preorder books so that students can buy them and have them autographed prior to the visit. See my link for Book Order Form above. I will be happy to sign any books during break times, but that time is often very limited due to scheduling.
